Technical Details

Plaster a new Masonry surface must be allowed to cure completely. It is recommended to allow 28 days as the curing time for new Masonry surface. The below mentioned steps guide you to deliver your job perfectly.

  1. Surfaced should be free from oil paint, dust or grease
  2. Vigorously clean through wire brushing and clean by water
  3. After cleaning the walls, use Khadi putty by maintaining a putty and water ratio 3:1
  4. Use 2 coats of Khadi thinned primer through water by maintaining the ratio
  5. Use properly 2/3 coats of Shobha for interior walls and Samporan for exterior walls
  1. Ensure that the surface to be painted is free from any loose paint, dust or grease
  2. Any previous growth of rungs, algae or moss needs to be removed through vigorous wire brushing and cleaning with water
  3. Square up the surface imperfections such as holes, dents and fine cracks with Putty
  1. 45 minutes dry time for 1st coat
  2. 4 hours fully dry time for Khadi Primer/Interior/Exterior emulsions
  3. Say no to use local strainer for colouring
  4. Minimum 3 coats of paint are needed for surface like top of the windows and ledges etc.
  5. Shaken the tinted paints before use
  6. For the best performance of the Khadi Prakritik paint, ensure proper washing and cleaning of all dust at regular intervals after every six months

Deep and bright colours may require additional coats of print and coverage may differ. Actual coverage may vary from the quoted coverage due to factors such as methods,conditions of application, surface roughness and porosity etc.
